Neveah Solarin and Yasmin Mensah grew up in St. Vincent and Nigeria. Upon arrival, they realize their perceptions of a foreign country are completely different from what they’re about to experience. Issues from domestic violence and alcoholism to prostitution, shape these two roses that blossom from the cold concrete. “We Don’t Know How to Not Fight,” chronicles the interconnectivity of these women who demonstrate resilience when hope was almost nonexistent.
