It is my firm belief that running a successful workshop is one of the most exciting and uplifting experiences a person can have. When I’m running a workshop I look around and see all the satisfied and happy faces and I know that everyone is taking something positive away with them. It is a win-win for everyone. Provided, of course, that I do it right.

It is also a great career. I love knowing that I am helping people in their work and assisting the businesses that employ them. Running a workshop puts me in that rare state of mind called “flow state,” where I become the experience. It becomes impossible to separate myself as a person performing an action from the action itself. At the risk of sounding a little kooky, when I’m running a workshop, responding to the subtle changes in the environment, and feeding off the energy of the participants, I feel at one with myself. The feeling is so dynamic and so all encompassing, the time flies when I’m running them.

This book is for anyone who is interested in facilitating workshops and/or brainstorming sessions, or anyone who is just curious how interactivity and games help individuals leave their comfort zones and come up with ideas out of the box.

I have participated and facilitated many workshops and I can tell you, doing it right requires commitment, humbleness and the ability to react quickly.
We all have creative minds. We all have the answers we need, but sometimes we have to step out from our usual, everyday work environments and do something different, do something memorable.

Come with me and I will show you how.
