...a very enjoyable short read that most sci-fi fans will enjoy....

Inser is responsible for security on the research base, but is acutely aware that the worst dangers come from inside – the people already cleared…

This is a very short story, with a plot that twists and turns from the first page to the last. I can’t say what has happened, or why, without spoiling it, but this is a very enjoyable short read that most sci-fi fans will enjoy.

It is getting a three, not a four, because experienced sci-fi fans will see the end coming, but it is still well-written and enjoyable. I’d love to see what this author could do with a longer story.

As sci-fi it is sadly a little average. It is well-written, with decent world-building, but anyone who follows mecha fiction or AI ship stories will find little unusual or unique here.
  • Lies We Will Tell Ourselves
Lies We Will Tell Ourselves is a high quality sci-fi collection. Sci-fi readers should enjoy it, but so may readers who simply want stories to make them think.
  • Trixie and Me
Two people trapped in an alien ship looking to escape.
