"For anyone looking for soft sci-fi, rayguns and pulp style adventure, this one could be enjoyable. Just be aware it's a serial and you'll need all the parts to get the full story."

The first thing that struck me about this book was that it's got a gorgeous cover. Simple, striking, with nice use of fonts, which is one of the reasons I chose it to review.

I was slightly surprised to find that this is not part of a series or a full story in its own right. This is one segment of a traditional serial. It begins where the last one left off and ends on a cliffhanger that will lead into the next title. While the title says this was the first book, the link we have been given is actually to the second, making it hard to review.

This is a sci-fi romance, and the sci-fi is definitely soft. I am a hard sci-fi fan and I don't like romance, so this is definitely not my kind of book. It's not a bad book, it's just not for me, and I found myself skimming. Therefore I am unable to review it in detail and am not giving it a rating - that would be unfair to the book.

However for anyone looking for soft sci-fi, rayguns and pulp style adventure, this one could actually be enjoyable. Just be aware it's a serial and you'll need all the parts to get the full story.

Rating: Unrated
