Samantha is at the graveyard, mourning the death of her parents who died in a car crash. While there, she is kidnapped by a group of pale creatures and taken underground.
Samantha then awakens to discover she has been chosen by Damien Hatcher, the vampire king, who elects her to rule by his side.
