...Strong writing with a strong message, Good Morning Justice is well worth a look....

Good Morning Justice is a collection of short prose and poetry.

This collection of short prose and poetry ranges from the inspirational to the deeply bitter. Written by various authors these pieces are all on the themes of social awareness, if not activism. There is an obvious political slant which may alientate some readers, but taken simply as fiction these are still readable. Enjoyable isn’t quite the right word; ‘moving’ may be closer.

The first poem, End the Stigma, is a strong start, and while the quality varies it doesn’t drop by much. Musings of a Waiting Insignificant is another strong poetry piece: well-written, short, and poignant.

Strong writing with a strong message, Good Morning Justice is well worth a look. Poetry readers might want to pick this up, as well as literary fiction or young adult readers who are just discovering these issues.

  • On the Loom of the Fates
Approachable, immediately relevant, and using simple language with great skill, it would appeal to younger readers because it does interact with today's issues.

The poems here are each followed by a feminist prose piece but the poems themselves have some gems, with a far broader appeal than the feminist or feminine. Written in rhythmic prose rather than rhyme... they read fluently and compellingly.
  • Words by Robert Zimmermann
It is a very short work, but one that will resonate with most writers, and readers. While I would not pay for one poem, as a free piece it is a nice idea
