You can get to fulfill your responsibilities with two outcomes:

? With good mental health.
? With lousy mental health.

THE BEST-SELLING BOOK ON ANIME AND PERSONAL MOTIVATION IN ENGLISH

Growing into adulthood is a very serious task that no one teaches you how to cope with; it requires carrying more and more responsibility, and it seems very complicated to adapt to the pace that your environment demands of you. The harsh reality is that the hard part is not adapting, but having the right approach.

Those who watch anime tend to be more empathetic. But empathy favors anxiety, sadness and depression. Book about the healthiest way to approach your life and learn from anime and manga.

AS YOU WATCH ANIME, SO ARE YOU
is a summary of my own tightrope walk, suffering from most of the mental health issues I describe, and explaining what approach I took to let go of each of those fears and insecurities.

? You can strive all you want, it won’t do you any good if you are completely unaware of why you are striving. If you want to walk to a place you need to do two things:WalkKnow where to walk to-
Continuing with this simile: this book does not tell you how to walk, but rather recommends which directions to follow, in order to become a happier, more realistic and integral person with your own life and your values as a person.

? Don’t expect practical advice that you can start working on tomorrow.

You will have to be willing to read different perspectives with which to face life, and if you manage to internalize any of them and be able to appreciate their results it will be a matter of time: months or maybe years.

But what a bastard and how right the author of this book was… you will say a few years later when you start to understand what he was talking about.Whether you are an adult, a teenager or a childWhether you are a fan of anime, videogames or kpopWhether you are suffering from a deep depression, you spend your days in solitude or on the contrary everything is going well for you.-
This book gives you fresh ideas and an interesting perspective on the world to better cope with life, and it doesn’t matter how old you are or what your hobbies are because I address practical issues for life in general, and I base it on examples from anime and manga but without going into detail. You could very well read the book without ever having watched anime in your life and you would be able to understand everything like the most otaku of readers.

I am aware that some of the things I tell you may not work for you. I’m not selling you the Holy Grail. I’m just telling you the seven most necessary paradigm shifts I had to face to get out of that negativity loop.

You will find very practical reflections on life, extracted from several anime:Vinland SagaWatamoteVagabondOne PieceNanatsu no Taizai / Seven Deadly SinsPsycho PassAssassination Classroom / Ansatsu KyoshitsuBlue Lock-
? No spoilers ? You don’t need to have seen any anime to understand the examples.
