Mark McKinnon is a frustrated 30-something network security expert, but with a past his co-workers know nothing about. Working in a dead-end job, his boss is the worst excuse for a human being he’s ever encountered. And to make matters worse he owes some very dangerous men a stupidly large amount of money – a debt he has no way of repaying. Most people would consider that a substantial amount of bad luck, but not for Mark because his decision to stand up to a violent thug has him on the radar of a crime boss the entire city is terrified of.
