Rogue waves in the heart of the great Pacific Ocean hide a secret lost through the changing of the tides. But its echoes resonate and threaten to shatter known history.
This secret has its origin in paradise. Man has staged a rebellion against the gods and is pronounced victor. The Ancients give them their freedom and order that a wall be erected to forever seal the world of men to the gods and to the existence of gods.
The wall meanders through the life of the Pleiades, the Seven Sisters – Maia, Electra, Merope, Taygete, Asterope, Celaeno, and Alcyone – daughters of Atlas and Pleione, the Sisters of whom prophecies were made. Zeus and Hera take the Pleiades from their parents so they can become guardians of the Ancient Stones as prophesied.
But things go wrong as they sometimes must.
And so it was that a flood engulfed the whole of the earth, burying the secret.
With the passing of time, the Pleiades begin their ascent into man’s consciousness. A second chance is bestowed, the past is evoked.
In her incarnation, Maia does not remember what she and her Sisters have done to the old world, but she hears the Ancients. And when she enlisted the help of the Eye in the Sky to search for her father lost in the sea near the Yonaguni Pyramid, it finds underwater secrets long thought to be buried and forgotten.
With its discovery, the past once again threatens to unleash its horrors – and to re-enact its painful shattering.
