Melinda’s boyfriend (nicknamed Hell) has divine powers. But Melinda is uneasy – she is a very ordinary, albeit rich, girl; how long can such an unequal relationship last?
A holiday trip home to Colombia should give Melinda a chance to put her situation in perspective. Instead she finds unpleasant surprises and an enemy determined to get rid of her. Even the powers of her boyfriend may not save her in time.
In the meantime Hell encounters disaffection among the divine inhabitants of New Olympus; they are bored with the constant perfection of their exile. He will need to scramble to resolve problems in both worlds at once.
But is humanity ready for a more active role of these long-forgotten deities?
This is the third and last part of the Children of New Olympus trilogy, soon to be published as a single volume. Each part works well as a standalone, however.
