Meet Jub the Turtle, resident of the Gowanus Canal. Life would be perfect there for grouchy loner Jub–if only he wasn’t so darn good at solving mysteries.
Because of that reputation, the animals of Brooklyn seek Jub out (a.k.a. bother the heck out of him) when they have a confounding problem that needs solving. Together with his one friend (by choice), Izzy, the carefree, warmhearted bodega cat, Jub bounces around the biggest borough in New York City, complaining about everything, being rude to everybody and solving cases for city critters of all kinds.
This first hilarious adventure features Jub and Izzy helping a lovesick squirrel recover his stolen nest. Without it, the squirrel will surely lose the love of his life to another squirrel with a more impressive nest.
