Finding out who your real friends are, should be easy. Unfortunately, these are all too often, very distasteful life lessons. That nasty medicine is much easier to swallow with the love of your family to back you up!
Missed the alarm, late for class, and now locked out of his apartment, Aeron races across campus to get to class on time. Situations like this you figure out “Who’s really in your corner!”
The “Book of Aeron” is a collection of short stories inspired by my children and my own childhood. I took some of my favorite experiences as a child and father, added a dash of poetic license, tossed in a sprig or two of just plain fiction, threw them in a bucket and stirred up some real fun.
This short story titled “Locked Out” was inspired by my oldest son moving into his first college apartment along with my own memory of playing Frisbee on December 1st in Oswego, New York wearing only shorts and flip-flops.
