“What happened?”
“Oh, the usual. Boy met girl. Girl and boy fell in love. Boy met another girl, got her pregnant, and married her,” Raychelle answered.
Now Tom is back in town with his son and stationed at the nearest Army post. Only his mercenary and partying wife isn’t with him … yet. She won’t let her paycheck get away without a fight or using any means at hand regardless of who they hurt.
Though Tom professes to love her still as he did in high school, Raychelle herself isn’t sure she really wants him back with all he has done. Through the machinations of others to keep Tom and Raychelle apart or to bring them back together, they fight for the love they once had and the new love that comes into Raychelle’s heart.
Note: This is a sweet, slightly suspenseful romance with no sex scenes. However, there is some not so nice language here and there.
