It is no myth spawning off some historical inaccuracy; that since merchant banking, progenitor of our modern form of the trade, had germinated from the Kingdom of the Lombards, Italy; back in the Early Medieval Period, it steadily grew through time and space, only to become monopolized, hundreds of years later, and particularly in Europe, by few industrial-banking dynasties; filthy rich and powerful, they contributed to the molding of the Old World, and from there, their influence has further propagated overseas, into America. So unto this day, across the globe, their presence still is tangible, albeit, it had greatly diminished.

It was just a matter of time, for the cosmopolitan clans to reclaim what they almost had lost, once again dominating over the Western world’s economies, politics, and religions, on par with the state; the latter, whose authority, was rendered merely something of a de jure facade.

And on the same night, the pagan wedding shall culminate the Occidental Venatio Games, something not before the times of imperial Rome man had seen anything akin to; held at the apex of the anual tournament, in which female gladiatrices brought from all corners of the realm, were forced into the arena in a fatal confrontation with the baiting beast. With gore and mud they commenced the Night of the Viragos.

Then, was the Sub-rosa auction, and the Rhevireon unleashed…
