Just another day in paradise, or so it seems, as DAVID LAWRENCE sets sail on a five day Caribbean cruise. The charter business is challenging at times, but, all in all, it’s not a bad way to earn a living. This trip, although a little longer than average, should be straight forward. The passengers, a TV evangelist and his family, are down from New England for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Almost from the start, things don’t go exactly according to David’s plan. A growing relationship with the evangelist’s twenty-one year old daughter is a complete surprise, while a much less pleasant surprise, a late season tropical storm, threatens to cut the trip short.
Little does David know, the evangelist is more dangerous than the storm, with a plan of his own, that doesn’t include David returning from the cruise alive.
In the end, God’s plan trumps all others, but, as always with God’s plans, His children must each choose their own path
