The simple and delightfully-illustrated story of a moth that decides to fly around its town to find out what humans are.

I picked this book up because of its lovely cover, only to find the cover does not resize properly in Cloud Reader and the lower half is cut off, or more depending on your screen size.

I wasn’t sure whether this fault continued throughout as several pages had no text on my version. Cloud Reader would not allow my to enlarge or reduce the page size to view it, resetting instantly, so this may be a formatting issue.

A great shame, as otherwise this is a five-star children’s book. It is nicely written, the story is simple and enjoyable for young children, and would make a lovely bedtime story.

It is absolutely beautifully illustrated. If you have this book on a black and white kindle you are missing a treat. I did have a quiet laugh at the ‘humans are so diverse’ page which shows an all-white cast.

This book would be ideal for young children, to either read to or with them. It is not scary or in anyway negative, and would encourage the best in its readers. If not for formatting issues, it would be five.

I completely recommend this.
