The ad was silly and whimsical. But for James Christianson, just laid off with little in the way of prospects, it seemed like a way for him to escape his otherwise mundane life. Transported to a magical world, he is told by the beautiful Queen Athaliah that he is their savior from an invading army of the undead that threatens to destroy their land. He soon finds himself joining the fight to save this new world he has found himself in. However James knows something that he cannot quite admit to. He is not the real savior, he isn’t the Chosen, and he should have never been sent in the first place.
But yet, fraud or not, he is still going to try to be the hero they want him to be.
